  • This half-washed, half-natural, "Black Honey" coffee from producers Oscar & Francisca Chacon is a gem. With striking blackberry & strawberry jam flavors, it stands out in some wonderful ways.

    The black honey process involves depulping the coffee cherry but drying the coffee bean with much of the pulp still intact on the bean. It requires extreme attention to dry correctly, preventing any spoilage and allowing the sugars to dry into the bean.
