Grown by the Torajan tribe in the mist-covered highlands of South Sulawesi, this coffee captures the spirit of one of Indonesia’s most breathtaking regions. Cultivated on tiny mountain farms reaching up to 2,000 MASL, Toraja coffee thrives among rice paddies, rock cliffs, and clouds — a true geographic wonderland.
Each batch is hand-harvested, sorted, and traditionally processed using Giling Basah (wet-hulling), a distinctive Indonesian method that gives the beans their signature earthy depth. The result is a cup that’s full-bodied, with smooth, layered notes of apricot jam, chamomile & pinot grigio.
Sustainably produced through community micro-mills and direct partnerships that ensure fair earnings for smallholder farmers, Sulawesi Toraja is more than coffee — it’s a story of heritage, resilience, and the art of slow cultivation at the world’s edge.
