Cultivated on tiny mountain farms reaching up to 2,000 MASL, Toraja coffee thrives among rice paddies, rock cliffs, and clouds — a true geographic wonderland.
Each batch is hand-harvested, sorted, and traditionally processed using Giling Basah (wet-hulling), a distinctive Indonesian method that gives the beans their signature earthy depth. The result is a cup that’s full-bodied, with smooth, layered notes of apricot jam, chamomile & pinot grigio.
Sustainably produced through community micro-mills and direct partnerships that ensure fair earnings for smallholder farmers, Sulawesi Toraja is more than coffee — it’s a story of heritage, resilience, and the art of slow cultivation at the world’s edge.
