General Store

Nestled along the canal, just steps from the Roastery, is the Homestead General Store. The birthplace of Homestead Coffee and home to our family for the past 40 years, the General Store is a cozy place where locals and travelers alike gather to enjoy the scenery, fill their bellies, and rest before carrying on with their day.

The Store features a traditional breakfast & lunch menu, deli counter, fresh baked goods, an assortment of drinks (including Homestead coffee, of course!), local kombucha and nitro cold-brew coffee on tap, ice cream, and seasonal home goods and gifts. 

Stop on by and say hello to our folks, Rick & Iris Lewis, who live above and manage the General Store. And on occasion, you might find Connor, their grandson (our nephew) working behind the counter. Be sure to take advantage of the outdoor seating, weather permitting, along the canal or under the gazebo by the lawn.
